Sophia Jenkins
Sophia Jenkins is an Associate Attorney at Geary Law.
Sophia earned her J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law, where she received multiple awards for academic performance. She also represented Texas Tech on its national advocacy teams for moot court and negotiation, winning a national moot court competition and earning a Best Brief award. Upon graduation, Sophia was elected to the National Order of the Scribes for outstanding legal writing. She also received a Pro Bono Achievement Award for contributing over 200 hours of law-related pro bono work to the Lubbock community.
While in law school, Sophia had the opportunity to clerk for multiple attorneys. She gained experience across a wide range of legal matters, and assisted in preparing litigation at all stages, from initial complaints to final appellate review. She also served as a research assistant for Gerry W. Beyer, Governor Preston E. Smith Regents Professor of Law at Texas Tech School of Law, conducting legal research and drafting legal literature on Texas estate planning law.
